MORTGAGE APPROVAL As your mortgage loan application is processed, the mortgage lending company will contact you directly regarding any questions they have concerning your loan application. It is not unusual for them to request additional information following the initial loan application. Under normal circumstances, you may expect to receive a preliminary loan approval decision approximately 3 weeks following application, and a final approval decision on or about 1 week following the preliminary approval.
